Access to the log data is restricted to a few selected persons who are legally bound by an undertaking to maintain data secrecy.
My consent also extends to the processing and use of the said data by BMW AG and its associated companies at home and abroad in connection with the operation of BKEP linked to TMSi.
This consent is given voluntarily and may be withdrawn at any time with immediate and continuing effect (by sending an e-mail to your BKEP linked to TMSi Market Responsible). If, when registering for BKEP linked to TMSi, consent to inclusion in the Register of Users is not given, registration and the issue of access authorization for BKEP linked to TMSi will not be possible. If consent is withdrawn at a later date, the user concerned will as a consequence be denied any further access to BKEP linked to TMSi.
I have read and understood the Data Protection Notes for the BMW Group integrated Talent Management System BKEP linked to TMSi and hereby indicate my agreement with the content of the Data Protection Notes and this Data Protection Consent Declaration.
Notes on Data Protection.
These Notes on Data Protection apply to the Internet service BMW Group Knowledge Enabling Platform (hereinafter referred to as “BKEP linked to TMSi”) that is provided by BMW AG (hereinafter referred to as “BMW”) on the website https://www.bmwonlinelearning.com/.
Personal Data Protection
In order to ensure the required confidentiality of communication, it is necessary to record, process and communicate personal details (personal data). BMW ensures that internationally recognized standards of data protection are maintained and that the personnel charged with the task of data processing meet the required standards of security and confidentiality. Data is only recorded, communicated and processed in the manner described below. If the extent of usage should change, BMW will inform users in the appropriate manner and at the appropriate time, and obtain their consent where necessary.
Extent of Processing of Personal Data
Access to BKEP linked to TMSi is limited to employees of BMW and its associated companies and the partner enterprises around the world specified by BMW and requires prior registration. In order to be able to properly provide the services offered and securely identify and authorize users for the purposes of allowing access to the training and informative content, the following details of users are recorded:
Company name, postal address and supplier number of employer (where applicable)
All personal details are recorded during the registration process and must be confirmed by the user in person. No data is obtained from other sources such as public records or external information providers. BMW as the provider of BKEP linked to TMSi reserves the right to verify the details supplied for user registration and to refuse applications for registration and/or deny access to BKEP linked to TMSi on a temporary or permanent basis. BMW does not make any personal data available to third parties (except for incident solving by IT-contractors).
The recording of personal data for the purposes of BKEP linked to TMSi user administration takes place only with the prior consent of the person concerned and in accordance with the declaration of consent by the user as provided for by the data protection legislation. Such consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time.

In order to prevent abuses, BMW employs extensive security measures of a technical and organizational nature, in particular:

Information and Cancellation Rights
BMW provides the facility for users to update, correct or prevent the use of personal details about themselves at any time. Declarations of consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting your BKEP linked to TMSi Market Responsible; however, withdrawal of consent will result in the denial of all access to BKEP linked to TMSi for the user concerned.
